“Relax toscano, carne alla griglia e tramonti: 5 giorni perfetti”

Se avete mai sognato di trovarvi in un quadro di un pittore en-plein-air, sappiate che qui si può fare di meglio: potete direttamente entrarci e viverci per cinque giorni. Questo è quello che è successo a noi, famiglia di quattro 1 (il nostro fedele cane), approdata all’agriturismo per una vacanza che dire rilassante è poco. L’appartamento Pietro? Spazioso, luminoso, pulito come una stanza di cristallo e – attenzione – dotato di un tostapane! Ora, voi direte: ''Che c’è di così speciale?'' Beh, non tutti possiedono un tostapane, ma chi lo ha provato sa che trasforma il pane in felicità croccante. Personalmente mi ha riportato alle colazioni della mia infanzia, e sono stata davvero felice di poter condividere con le mie figlie questo piccolo rituale di merende epiche. Il borgo è uno spettacolo: curato come un giardino zen, ma con il panorama toscano al posto della sabbia e dei bonsai. La sensazione è quella di essere protagonisti di una cartolina vivente. Le colline, i vigneti, la luce del tramonto... per farvi un’idea, immaginate un quadro di un artista dell’Ottocento che però ogni tanto esce dalla cornice per offrirvi un calice di vino. Per noi è stato un paradiso di relax e divertimento. Abbiamo sfruttato tutti i servizi disponibili: piscina a go-go, tornei di ping pong in cui abbiamo dato il meglio di noi stessi (e perso clamorosamente contro un altro simpaticissimo ospite), calcio balilla da campioni, e una novità in famiglia: mia figlia più piccola ha imparato ad andare in bici senza rotelle! Un enorme grazie va a Luca, il proprietario, che ci ha prestato una mini mountain-bike: da quel momento, il borgo è diventato il suo circuito personale. Parliamo di Luca: una persona davvero speciale. Gentile, disponibile e con un’enciclopedia di consigli pratici. Avete mai avuto il dilemma su dove comprare la migliore carne toscana per il barbecue? Noi sì, e grazie a Luca, abbiamo scoperto una macelleria che vende tagli da favola. E così, ci siamo trovati a cenare all’aperto, con il profumo della carne grigliata, un bicchiere di vino rosso in mano, e un tramonto che sembrava disegnato apposta per noi. Momenti che non dimenticheremo. E poi, tra una grigliata e una nuotata, ci siamo spinti fino a Siena e all’abbazia di San Galgano, dove, per la gioia mia e delle mie figlie, abbiamo visto la mitica spada nella roccia. Chiunque abbia mai amato il film Disney sa che questo è il genere di gita che ti fa sentire un po’ re Artù. Ovviamente non abbiamo estratto la spada, ma questo è solo un dettaglio trascurabile. Siamo ripartiti con la voglia di tornare, anche perché ci sono ancora tante cose che non siamo riusciti a fare: Arezzo e San Marino ci attendono! Ma, come si dice, meglio lasciare qualcosa da fare per la prossima vacanza, no? Perciò: questo è il posto perfetto se volete rilassarvi, mangiare bene, e vivere in un dipinto. Se poi vi piace anche il ping pong e avete un debole per i tostapane, è decisamente la vostra meta ideale. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

We had the most wonderful stay. The facilities were excellent and the location was incredible. To open your shutters every morning and see the sun rising over the hills in the distance was pure magic. We stayed with our three older children and loved every minute. The owner, Luca, was friendly and very helpful. He was easy to contact if we needed anything or had a question. We could tell he takes pride in his property. We were a family of 4 adults and a 6 year old, and stayed n the Pietro apartment which was perfect for us. We had everything we needed. The pool area was a great hang out spot and the grounds were wonderful to walk around and explore. So many beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. A very relaxing stay.

Our family group loved staying in the wee cottage and the surroundings. The cottage had a good amount of room to accommodate the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids), with the two full bathrooms and living space. The surrounding countryside is lovely and overall a great base to see Tuscany. We would love to come back!

Arriving and staying in the shoulder season (early May) we were disappointed that the pool wasn't yet open and we found the cottage chilly (especially on the rainy day) with no heating.

Comment by the Owner Very friendly and cheerful hosts. The pool was closed because the water temperature was below normal (as confirmed by the guest it was chilly). The heating was not turned on because the guest did not request it once informed that it had a cost, as advertised.

Lovely spacious accomodation. Everything was so clean. We were right next to the pool which was lovely. Luca was very attentive, we saw him at least once a day and he gave us travel tips. We really liked the cold filtered sparking water which was available from the water machine too!

Luca and his family are very helpful and always available for questions or tips. It is like staying with family! The pool is great and has a wonderful view in the surrounding area. The location is perfect for trips to Siena, Arezzo or in the Chianti area. The apartments are spacious and well equipped and thoughtfully furnished and each bedroom has its own bathroom - what a luxury!

Place is spectacular and correnceponds the pictures. There is nice and well kept swmming pool, which is reached through a beautiful lavender alley. Luca is very helpful, and is always willing to help you with all matters. It was nice cook or grill as the house has everything you need to prepare food.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana a luglio, nell'appartamento Jacopo. Posizione strategica per visitare molte città nei dintorni (noi siamo arrivati fino a Orvieto). Luca è da subito stato molto gentile e disponibile e ci ha dato ottimi consigli. L'appartamento è davvero carino e attrezzato di tutto, e il giardino antistante, con vista sulla valle, ci ha permesso di fare colazioni e cene all'aperto. Molto caratteristico il sentiero di lavanda che porta alla piscina, anch'essa con vista, per un totale relax. C'e inoltre possibilità di usare il barbecue. Completa il tutto il fatto che la struttura si trovi in un borgo medievale: davvero suggestivo. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

The place is at the top of a hill with beautiful views into the valleys and on surrounding hills. The apartments are all modernised and well appointed. All bathrooms had big fluffy towels. All kitchens had everything needed including a dishwasher. As we were a large group, with the help of the owners, we could put enough tables and chairs together on a large lawn so that all 38 of us could have meals together..We chose Pizzas and our host called the Pizzeria and ordered the pizzas for us. We only had to pick them up. We were having a family gathering of 15 families, (40 People), but the apartments had several bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. Everyone was absolutely happy and all children could be accommodated in separate rooms or the babies in cots where ever the parents wanted. The wheelchair assessable apartment worked very well. Interaction with the owners was always possible and they were always willing to help in any way they could. We had cooking lessons and the ''mama's even pre-cooked enough food so that all of us could have a very nice evening meal together. It was so good we did this twice.

The location is a bit away from villages (10 Km), and the location is only reachable by car. We had a couple of families that we just picked up from nearby located train stations. It did not negatively effect us, but having a car is best.

The owner helped us so very much. Problems with the car we had rent so he fetch us up late evening and next day drive us to nearest train station to get to a car company. Beautiful and spacious apartment. Great view on the surroundings. Clean. Lots of stuff in the kitchen (e.g. microwave). Things to do for the kids (mini football). Drinking water (even sparkled). Very helpful host. He even took me on a cycling trip which was one of the highlights of my holiday. Also we forgot a tablet charger which he sent to our home address. So all in all very positive!

Not really negative aspects because overall we were very happy. The only thing that I want to mention is that the children were a bit disappointed about the fact that the swimming pool was closed. I understood that because of the water temperature that was forbidden, but maybe it could be mentioned more explicit on the website.

The space is adequate even for 4 people since our original plan was 4 people instead of 3 It has washing machine which allowed us to wash clothes and also heater paid by ourselves on gas consumption The host Luca has been helpful to resolve issues eg incompatible electric plugadapter and responsive in WhatsApp messages It was close to Arezzo and we surprisingly discovered that it was a good town with lots of things to explore eg antiques food and Gelato Arezzo has one of the best Gelato shop Sunflower which is equal or better than Gelateria Dondoli in San Gimignano Bucine which was the closest town had supermarkets stores cafe and restaurants The property note both online and hardcopy was very useful for us who visited Tuscany first time One more thing our flat could see sunrise every morning as all the rooms faced east side

The location was a bit far from Val DOrca and nearby Pienza which was our primary location to take photograph San Gimignano Montepulciano and Pienza required an hour drive nowadays gas price is high Perhaps the room rate had considered this aspect We had not expected Tuscany was so big that it took a lot of time to travel by car However this was due to us not having adequate research before coming to Tuscany It was cold at night so heater was definitely required so required extra cost One minor problem wifi in certain area of our flat sometimes had no connection signal For instance at the far end of the bedroom and we had to move to near the living room to regain WiFi connection

During our three-week tour of Italy, we stayed in Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Sorrento, and here in Tuscany. Our stay here was the highlight! Lucca, Luccia, Gisele, and Fortunato were perfect hosts - gracious, helpful, and very easy to work with before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. The grounds, pool, and nearby area were heavenly. The location was within one hour of pretty much everything in Tuscany. And the highlight of highlights was our cooking class with Mamma!

A wonderful environment of nature, olive trees, fig trees and vineyards, peace, quietness, beautiful view of the surroundings, staying in the original farm buildings well adapted for guests with several centuries of history. Comfortable, large and clean swimming pool, nice barbecue areas and safe covered parking. Comfortable, large apartment rooms, well-equipped bathrooms and a kitchen for self-catering. A fantastic host, providing all the information and suggesting good opportunities to spend time in the surroundings and in the entire region. Access to restaurants and shopping in nearby towns within a few minutes by car.

Logements tres bien équipés et tres propres. Belle piscine et équipements collectifs (barbecues...) au rdv. Une region tellement belle ou les villes et leurs trésors comme Sienne, Florence, Montepulciano, Arezzo vous laisseront sans voix.... Tous les conseils de Lucas sont précieux et les adresses de bonne table dans les environs proches sont nombreuses.

La description du logement laissait penser que nous aurions eu un peu plus d'intimité au niveau de notre espace extérieur. Effectivement, certains gites sont positionnés autour d'une cour centrale ou tout le monde vit avec tout le monde. Cela ne nous aurait pas dérangé mais les familles voisines étaient trop bruyantes et peu respectueuses (jeux et cris d'enfants jusqu'à tres tard le soir et adolescents discutant sous vos fenêtres toute la nuit...) Il faut dire que cette année particulièrement nous aspirions à plus de calme d'ou notre déception à ce niveau. Suggestion pour Lucas : prevoir des ventilateurs en nombre suffisant pour les jours de canicule comme nous avons vécu cet été.

- The location is incredible. Forests, olives, wine, game, tranquility. - The pool is a nice touch, though bracing. - The owners are extraordinarily attentive, available and sweet.

It is important to say that the positives far outweigh the negatives. This was precisely what we were looking for and most of the downsides relate to nice-to-haves. - There are a lot of amenities at this place, but not all are in optimal condition. The TV was present but with only a handful of active channels, the internet was spotty, the bicycles are mostly unrideable.

L'agriturismo si compone di tanti grandi appartamenti e zone verdi a volontà, in cui leggere e rilassarsi, sentieri in cui utilizzare le biciclette fornite dalla struttura, barbecue per grigliare in giardino; a completare il tutto, una piscina con vista sulle colline toscane, incorniciata da lavanda e ulivi. Il posto perfetto per rigenerarsi lontano dalla città, senza inerpicarsi troppo. Fortunato e la sua famiglia sono stati disponibili per ogni esigenza, facendoci sentire a casa. È veramente un posto consigliato, in cui sicuramente ritorneremo!

Casa in pietra locale in un delizioso borgo immerso nel verde; l'appartamento Sofia è arredato con gusto e con tutti i confort, ambienti ampi, con un bagno per ogni camera. Piacevole anche il giardino con tavolo per mangiare all'esterno e barbecue ( che però non abbiamo usato). Abbiamo apprezzato molto il silenzio e la compagnia delle rondini. L'agriturismo ha diversi appartamenti , è ideale per chi vuole viaggiare con amici o in diverse famiglie. È 15 minuti di macchina da Rapolano terme e in posizione baricentrica per visitare la Toscana Orientale. Il proprietario si è mostrato cordiale, disponibile e ci ha consigliato degli ottimi posti dove andare a mangiare.

Non abbiamo potuto godere della piscina, ma sarà un'ottima scusa per tornarci!

We recently spent one month in Tuscany on a hilltop in an ancient village. This farmhouse is expertly run and wonderfully comfortable. It has all of the modern amenities, including wifi internet, a welcoming pool and deck, very comfortable apartments with full kitchens and cozy beds. We used our apartment as home base where we then took train trips to Florence, Venice and Cinque Terra. The train station was only thirty minutes away and had safe free parking for our trips. We were in major cities and always returned to the incredible solitude and beauty of this property. It was a perfect combination of the sites in Italy and the quiet reverence of a hilltop in Tuscany. By far the most incredible aspect was the warm, knowledgeable caring treatment we received from the proprietors Fortunato and Gisella. We toured their home with the wine cellar, we drank their incredible chianti and ''olive juice'' as Fortunato called it. We cannot express how wonderful our stay was and cannot wait to return to the heaven on the hilltop.

The place is outstanding : a lovely authentic small village on the top of a hill with a great view. The apartments are independents with easy access to the pool and other facilities. rnMoreover the Hosts Gisella and Fortunato are lovely and very helpful, always here to help you out and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We were there for a week with a family group of 29 of all ages and everybody had a wonderful time - looking forward to return !

Le logement et l'infrastructure sont 100% conforme au descriptif. Endroit magnifique, au calme et en pleine nature. Fortunato et Gisella sont adorables et toujours à votre disposition.

Very clean, spacious, well equipped apartment. Beautiful setting. Lovely swimming pool with plenty of space and loungers. Bar b qs and shaded gardens to relax in. Great home produced wine and olive oil. Owners are very informative and helpful.

The local bakery has wonderful bread and cakes which are worth an early morning trip. The tour and family history of the house are wonderful too. Great place to explore but you definitely need a car to get the most from your stay.

Propriétaire très accueillant et très disponible. Lieux haut perché avec vue superbe sur la vallée. Belle maison en pierre avec décoration locale. Très belle grande piscine. Bien placée pour visite Sienne voire Florence et les nombreux beaux villages de Toscane. Literies correcte

Contrairement à d'autres appartements de la résidence, appartement à l'étage et donc obligé de descendre plus bas et plus loin pour bénéficier espace repas extérieur. Voiture obligatoire car pas de commerce à moins de 7 km. La clim aurait été un plus compte-tenu de la température (moyenne 37)

Avant de prendre la location, faire un maximum de provisions car pas de commerces proches une fois la haut Demander au propriétaire de raconter l'histoire du village et de sa maison.

Un endroit magnifique dans les lavandes et les oliviers. Les propriétaires sont adorables, discrets et attentionnés. Une piscine propre, grande et conviviale. Un charme sobre et sans clinquant dans ce domaine familial. La preuve: certains hôtes y reviennent depuis 5 ans! À recommander sans restriction .

Évidemment le domaine étant isolé la voiture est nécessaire pour les plus simples courses.

Idéalement situé pour les visites de Florence, Sienne et les villages médiévaux. Les propriétaires sont d excellents conseils pour tous les circuits aux alentours.

Everything was positive! Our hosts were particularly warm and welcoming and treated us like family. We were very comfortable there.

Nothing at all.

Make sure to ask the host to give you a tour of the venue, including the family history... it's FASCINATING! Whether you want to sit in the shade and read, or travel to the nearby towns for shopping and sightseeing, this is a great place to be. It's EXACTLY the way you imagine a Tuscan villa will be.
