The farmhouse just 10 minutes from Montepulciano, is surrounded by a garden of vineyards and orchards.

The farm is technically advanced and of an imposing size, extending over 400 hectares subdivided into vines, fruit, vegetables and cereals of all kinds.

When renovating the Agriturismo, the architect, Martinelli, was looking above all to provide all modern comforts without losing the original identity of the building. The guests have therefore been provided with:

• a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi,
• a billiard room,
• a relaxing garden with many green areas,
• and the possibility of going on exciting trips with a picnic through the vineyards and fruit orchards or interesting walks to look for local flowers and wildlife.

Breakfast, an important moment in the day, is an abundant and varied buffet that features only seasonal, local products. The cakes and jams are homemade from recipes handed down through the generations and they stand out for their genuine, delicious tastes of times.

Dinner and lunch, prepared for events or on request, are prepared from old peasant recipes you can also learn about on our cooking courses that will transport you to a world of smells and flavours that have been forgotten over time.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner bookings for guests and also those not staying at The Agriturismo. The Farmhouse can accommodate groups of up to 40 people for lunch or dinner with menus created with products conveniently sourced from a short supply chain.

The kitchen uses recipes hailing from the Tuscan culture and tradition that have been handed down from generation to generation, always taking into account seasonality to give a simpler, more decisive flavour. The dishes of the restaurant include: Panzanella [Tuscan bread and tomato salad], Siena-style trype, Pici alle briciole (Tuscan pasta), Peposo (peppery Tuscan beef stew), Etruscan-style rabbit and Cantucci (biscuits)

For those who wish to try their hand at a cooking course, The Agriturismo opens its kitchen and wood-burning oven to organise courses for 2 to 8 people, with three different categories:

- FRESH PASTA: PICI – RAVIOLI – TAGLIATELLE with simple sauces in the Italian tradition;

- PIZZA: Includes dough preparation, rising and baking, which can be done in the outdoor wood-burning oven in good weather;

- COMPLETE COURSE: Full meal from the starter to the dessert, our cuisine in your hands.
