The farmhouse is located in the scenic area protected by the Superintendency for Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the Settignano hill, just outside the city of Florence.

The historic center of Florence is 15 minutes away, the peripheral city 5 minutes even though the farmhouse is literally immersed in the typical Tuscan countryside dominated by olive trees, vines, cypresses, secular oaks and where until at least the fifteenth century the Florentine patrician families each had their own possessions of country.

Originally this residence was the property of a rich Florentine family, whose coat of arms is displayed on some of the stone walls of the villa. In the XVIII century, the villa belonged to a family allies to the great Medici. In the end it passed on to a Marquess. The recent restoration has maintained the original aspect of the Villa, with a high respect for the material and the colours of the florentine hills, preserving the harmony between rural countryside and modern comfort, typical for the country estates of the Florentine high society.

The Villa has six apartments, three of them are communicating and located in its central part; the original materials have also been respected (terracotta, pietra serena, wooden beams), the "Florentine taste" has determined the choices of furnishings obviously taking into account modern needs.

Each flat has private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, intercom, kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, internet access, independent heating and air conditioning, internet access (PC not provided). Each sofa in the living areas can become a bed.

Guests can access all the rooms on the ground floor and the basement - kitchen and canteen - for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner if booked in advance.
