Granaio all'Ombra is a welcoming 25 m2 room for 2-3 people; It has a bathroom with shower and is also accessible to disabled people. Obtained from the rooms where cereals for livestock were stored, its authenticity is recognizable in the typical vaulted ceiling in terracotta bricks and the high windows through which the sun's rays filter in the morning.
Granaio all'Ombra and Granaio al Sole can be connected to form a two-room apartment for 4-5 people.

“Our overall stay at Poggiopiano was wonderful. The setting amongst the vineyard and olive groves was charming, beautiful and peaceful! Returning to the farm after the hectic pace of Florence each day was lovely, especially when enjoying the pool overlooking the valley. The room was reasonably comfortable and a generous size. Elisabetta was friendly, informative and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety of items. The farm is conveniently located a 25-30 minute bus ride away from the centre of Florence. A walk from the farm to the bus stop is 10-15 minutes depending on how fit you may be!”
