This comfortable country house is immersed in the green hills of Cortona, a few steps from important centers such as: Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Pienza, Montepulciano and several other small towns. The first historical records of the house date back to the second half of the eighteenth century, at that time it produced extra virgin olive oil, cereals and the famous tobacco used for the famous Tuscan cigars.

We offer 3  rooms plus 1 suite, all with private bathroom and all are furnished, as is the rest of the house, with antiques from the 18th to the 20th century. The rooms and bathrooms are serviced daily and linen is changed every three days.

In the morning, Simonetta will give you a sweet good morning made of home-made perfumes and preparations such as homemade cakes and biscuits, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade biscuits, fresh yogurt, juices and jams of absolute excellence.

Dinner can be organized (by reservation) at the Bed & Breakfast, with traditional Tuscan dishes.  Only on Monday, wednesday and Saturday. You can try local vegetarian or vegan dishes as well as original proposals by the whimsical cook Simonetta. An à la carte menu is not available but Simonetta will inform you of the availability of the day or arrange a personalized menu with you.

With Guido you can choose to accompany your dishes with the great Tuscan wines including Syrah di Cortona, Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino,  Chianti, Supertuscan and much more.

The bed & breakfast is the ideal place for those visiting central Italy, eager to relax with a good glass of wine while admiring the rolling Tuscan hills.
