The mid-19th century villa, on a farm estate growing olives and vines, has recently been modernized to provide new kitchens and bathrooms, but retains all its period character.

All four apartments have a wealth of original features and are furnished with antiques. The villa is set in a large garden with swimming pool for the use of guests.

The surrounding countryside, dotted with clusters of old farmhouses and oak and chestnut woods, is ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding.

In this farmhouse the breakfast room is located in the old building where, only 50 years ago, grapes were pressed and tools were stored.

The room is called Universal due to the large print on the Judgment hanging on the wall, it is lofted, overlooks the external courtyard and is close to the swimming pool.

The breakfasts served in the Universal room are based on local Tuscan products. The breakfast service is made to order by the customer. The timetable is as follows: from 8.30 to 10.30.

The guests of the Agriturismo can order on the spot, family cooking dinners served exclusively in the park of the villa using the organic products of the Farm.

A new 1 km long naturalistic-agricultural pedestrian path is accessible from the Agriturismo: along the stream and the pine forest, strawberry beds, the walnut grove, the vineyard, the olive grove, the orchard.

About 10 minutes away by car along an excellent asphalt road are the outskirts of Cortona, a major art-historical centre with numerous buildings and works of art from the Etruscan, medieval and Renaissance periods.

The location provides easy road access to other parts of Tuscany (Montepulciano and Pienza southwest across the Val di Chiana) and also east to Umbria (Perugia, Assisi).

Key sites on the "Piero della Francesca Trail" are within striking distance: Arezzo, San Sepolcro, Monterchi. There is good access to fast road routes to Siena, Florence and Rome.
