This Agriturismo is born from the pleasure of hosting and sharing the love for rural culture, from the natural inclination towards culture, tradition, love for the landscape of Roero, Monferrato and the nearby Langhe, the mysterious feeling for simple things, the simplicity of our family.

The estate covers over 30 hectares of hills with an annual production of about 300,000 bottles of DOC and DOCG wines.

The farm is widespread, and not far from the estate, in the center of the hamlet of San Matteo, is the rural house of Nonno Toni, in a courtyard as it used to be and adjacent to the first headquarters of the winery of the estate.

Here reside 3 mini apartments with kitchenette and independent bathroom so you can live the slow times of rural life in full autonomy and time management.
Breakfast will be served at the cozy tasting room (inside the estate) served buffet with homemade cakes, jams with our fruit, hot drinks.

In the cozy tasting room, in a magical and charming atmosphere you can taste and share the sensations offered by the variety of wines. 

Our guests will have the opportunity to visit the winery and have a guided tasting of 3 wines presented directly by the family, with a detailed description of the company, the methods of processing the vineyards and the production of various wines, from vinification to bottling.

Some historical notes:

Cisterna d'Asti is located at the junction of three generous territories, Monferrato, Langhe and Roero, always the three most prestigious wine areas of Piedmont: for this, its strategic importance is ancient history.

The castle was founded as a fortress in the Middle Ages, then it is refined and transformed into an elegant residence, today it dominates the vineyards as an attentive guardian, almost as a custody and protection of their grapes and of those who with love and wisdom transform them into precious wines.

What better setting to host the Museum "Arts and Crafts of the past" than the same noble residence, in whose rooms and cellars the farm equipment of the '600 served to recreate ancient workshops.

In Cisterna d'Asti culture and tradition still make history today: it is no coincidence that and right here are born the wines of the estate.
