Holiday house description
Small farm that produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil with a fruity taste. It is located at the beginning of the hills north-east of the city of Lucca, in the village of Segromigno in Monte, an area famous for its ancient Lucchese villas.
The area is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards that draw the hills dotted with farms, farmhouses and Romanesque parish churches with bell towers that peek out from the green of the cypresses and the silvery gray of the olive trees, to remind us of our traditions.
Three apartments have been created in an ancient rural cottage, now renovated respecting the original characteristics, furnished with the simplicity of the old peasant houses of the area, without however renouncing what is necessary for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a laundry room .
In a bright and welcoming room in typical Tuscan style, we prepare typical dinners with local products: cold cuts, cheeses, bruschetta (grilled bread with extra virgin olive oil, tomato and seasonal vegetables), sweets and wine produced on the Lucca hills. If you want our dinner, you need to book it two days before.
We can easily reach the city of Lucca just 9 km away, Pisa is about 20 km away, Florence 65 km and the beautiful beaches of Versilia just 20 km away on the motorway (A-11).
The Jacuzzi cannot normally be used in the winter period unless requested in advance.
