The property is a winery located on the border between two of the most important Italian wine regions: the Oltrepo Pavese and the Colli Piacentini. Prestigious wines are produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes.

Giovannella, an attentive and passionate owner, wanted this authentic winemaking reality, slow in the paths of renewal, never overwhelming, but full of respect and love for places and nature. A magical place that opens its paths to wine lovers.

The colors and the creative atmosphere of the company represent the spirit of wine: to give joy and imagination. Here, lovers of nature and good wine can stay in apartments and rooms obtained from the old farmhouses, tasting the best of the nectar that is produced and tasting traditional cuisine.

The company is a small, intact hamlet crossed by time, with a history, which has lasted for over 2000 years. The most unexpected and secluded place, located in the center of a hill at 270 meters above sea level, designed by the rows of grapes that surround it.

The Borgo is made up of the Castle, the rural houses, inhabited in the past by peasants and a Neoclassical Church.

The renovation project began in the 1980s, with the aim of a total building recovery, which would bring the village back to its ancient being, when so many families lived there and the company was full of life.
Giovannella's goal was to transform farmers' homes into apartments for the company's guests, to offer an environment where the history, art and culture of wine could be breathed.

In the renovation, we tried to use and adapt many materials present in the buildings so that each apartment and each room has its own historical soul. The apartments, for example, still bear the name of the farmer's wife who lived there (there is the Casa di Clara, the Casa di Paola, etc.). Each house is different from the other and only woods from the company's trees were used for the furnishings: elm, cedar from Lebanon, yew, cypress, cherry.
Everything was made by good and patient artisans from the surrounding area.

The apartments are all on two floors: on the ground floor the kitchen and the living room, on the upper floor one or more bedrooms with bathrooms. On the front, only a beautiful panorama of vineyards. The apartments, all with bathroom and complete equipment for the home, are of different types: from the two-room apartment for two people, to the three-room apartment for four people, to get to the three-room apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people and, for families or larger groups it is available a five-room apartment that can accommodate up to 8 people.

In addition to the apartments, the farm also allows you to stay in bedrooms with private bathrooms. In fact, an Inn with four delightful rooms and a small restaurant, open from March to November, by reservation only, was created in the ancient Customs of the '700, located at the beginning of the company.

In the restaurant of the farmhouse, in combination with typical traditional dishes, only and exclusively wines from the farm are served.

Three internal rooms can accommodate 40 people. Only 40 seats, to ensure even the pleasure of the table the right tranquility and to be able to taste the wines better.

In the summer, under the external - but covered - veranda there can be about 60 people.

The menu is always linked to the seasons and offers you the best that the farm can offer you: homemade pasta, farmyard animals, legumes, vegetables and cheeses from natural crops.

On the upper floors are the bedrooms.

And there is also a museum set up in the ancient cellar to testify the history of this place.

We welcome groups of tourists for visits to the company, wine tastings, lunches, dinners and to celebrate special events.
