Ours is a farm located on the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennine ridge at 274 m above sea level, on the edge of the ancient road that connects Florence to Ravenna and halfway between Marradi and Brisighella.
The management is entirely family-run.
The main activity is beekeeping, carried out exclusively on the hills of our Apennines with about 250 hives. The company produces and sells organic honey and other hive products; organic jams, wine (red merlot, white chardonnay); soft wheat flour.
We have always tried to offer our guests something real, that was not created just for tourists, real choices that also affect our family life.

The rooms, particularly well-kept, with exposed wooden beam ceilings, wrought iron beds and antique-style furnishings, are located on the first floor with independent access and private bathroom.

The apartment is located on the garden floor with independent entrance and private bathroom. From the windows you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley with vineyards, cultivated fields and woods overlooking the Lamone River.

Breakfast is included in the rooms; for the apartment it is possible to have it for a fee.
In the morning we serve a breakfast based on honey and jams produced directly by us, cake, piadina and naturally leavened bread with sourdough, homemade, all produced by our company with organic methods. Every 3 days the linen is changed and the room is cleaned; every 7 days for the apartment.

The catering service is suspended. In the breakfast room there is a microwave oven, a kettle, a refrigerator, dishes available to guests so as to allow those who want to manage their meals independently. However, there are excellent trattorias nearby.

Ours is a 100% organic and eco-sustainable production company:

• In the morning we serve the cake that I prepare myself and the leavened bread with sourdough, with our organic flour; organic milk and butter, jams made by me with fruit picked from the tree only when ripe and prepared with a long cooking time, honey made by my husband and extracted with the help of our young children. Fair Trade tea and coffee through the local GAS (Solidarity Purchasing Group);
• The sheets and towels are washed by us with ecological and organic detergents and left to dry in the wind and sun on the clothesline;
• For cleaning we use certified ecological and organic detergents. It may happen that the towels have slightly different colors because, at the end of the season we do not throw everything away, but we only replace the broken or worn ones and they are difficult to find identical ones.
• For the light we use clean energy from photovoltaics and for hot water the clean energy from the solar thermal panel.

Animals are welcome, by prior agreement, as long as they are never left alone in the rooms and are not allowed to climb on beds and sofas, even if covered by their own towels. Extra cleaning fee.

There are many destinations that can be reached from the company both by car and by train (S. Cassiano station about 1.5 km away).

From here you can visit the medieval village of Brisighella (13 km), Faenza (25 km), Ravenna (65 km), Bologna (70 km), Ferrara (70 km), Florence (73 km) and other interesting places in the Apennine hinterland.
Brisighella is an ancient medieval and spa village in the Lamone Valley, in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, between Florence and Ravenna.

For nature lovers you can reach the Casentinesi Forest Park (20 km), the Vena del Gesso with the Carnè Park, and the Tanaccia di Brisighella karst cave (13 km), the Po Delta (85 km) as well as the numerous CAI trails also near the company.
For sports enthusiasts, 10 km away are the swimming pools of Marradi, Riolo Terme and Fognano, the riding school of Marradi.
In addition, Mirabilandia for children and not only, is located only 50 km away.
