Surrounded by amazing centuries – old olive trees of Alto Salento, the Masseria is an exclusive and unforgettable chance to enjoy the quietness and the flavours of the countryside in XVIII century wide and comfortable suites, carefully renovated and furnished in a sober and elegant way and still keeping the unchanged charm of the ancient country houses.

The owners have recovered dwellings of laborers, stables, barn, oven, the old water tank and water troughs with care and love, trying to keep the original buildings, such as the old stoned a stella and a botte ceilings, or the wooden and tiles ceilings of those places that used to keep the harvest in the past, and now welcome people who are sensitive to the charm of that tradition and history the ancient Apulien farms still witness.

The apartments and the suites face an open court, just where cows stayed in the past; others stand along an alley where boxes for horses and the old rabbit hitch were.

The guests will enjoy unforgettable walks in the 35 hectars wide estate, among old-centuries olive trees, almond trees, lemon trees and Mediterranean plants; or they will relax at the natural stoned swimming pool, or have cycling trips. But they can also go horse riding or have wellness treatments at wellness centre in Brindisi 2347, other property managed by the same owner.

“Le lieu est vraiment exceptionnel, il est rare de trouver un lieu calme, beau et agréable : vous pourrez profiter du bel espace de piscine en toute tranquillité entouré des champs d’oliviers ! Le petit déjeuner est préparé maison et avec des produits de la propriété. Le personnel est aux petits soin et s’assurera de vous faire passer des vacances reposantes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, le ménage est fait tous les jours. La structure ne possède pas beaucoup de logements ce qui permet un cadre calme et un personnel disponible pour toute demande.”

“Die Masseria ist inmitten der Natur wunderschön ruhig gelegen. Ein tolles Anwesen mit großzügigen sehr sauberen Zimmern, leckeres Frühstück und sehr aufmerksames herzliches Personal. Obwohl wir mit unserem Kleinkind abends nicht das nahe gelegene Restaurant besuchen konnten, konnten wir jeden Tag das ausgezeichnete Menü bestellen und es wurde uns in das Appartement gebracht. So konnten wir die wunderbaren regionalen Speisen genießen. Dafür ein Extra-Dankeschön an Marilena und ihr Team. Unserem Sohn hat am besten der Brunnen mit den Fischen gefallen und die Pferdekoppel. So waren Eltern und Kind glücklich. Die Lage der Masseria eignet sich außerdem für herrliche Ausflüge in das Itriatal und die absolut sehenswerten Städtchen.”
