Immersed in the heart of maritime Tuscany on the first hills of the Etruscan Coast, there is this farmhouse with swimming pool, converted from an old convent, renovated using green building methods and with attention to maximum eco-sustainability.

You arrive at this farmhouse by entering the Pisan hills just adjacent to the Livorno area which runs along the Etruscan coast in front of that wonderful puzzle of islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
A few minutes' drive from Cecina, between Casale Marittimo and Guardistallo, immersed in 20 hectares of crops, olive trees and woods, stands the old farmhouse, once home to an old monastery with an adjoining chapel and parish church, now renovated and restored to its original exterior stone walls. Inside, arranged on two floors, there are seven traditional apartments available to guests.

From up there on sunny summer days you can enjoy a wonderful climate among the morning land breezes that already at dawn touch the centuries-old cypresses around the parish church, the olive trees and the more distant forest that descends towards the valleys to the sea, and then changes in the winds from the mistral to the more salty ones from the west which weaken in the evening, with poignant and unforgettable sunsets that light up in the west, against the backdrop of the sea.

In the peace of this uncontaminated place, among woods and olive groves, you can spend a holiday in maximum family tranquility, reaching the sea which is a few km away, perhaps by bicycle to keep fit.

From the "all natural" perspective that inspired the restoration of the ancient convent, for your relaxation you will have the splendid 18 x 9 meter infinity pool at your disposal, nestled between the green hills and the blue sea at horizon. The swimming pool is eco-sustainable, purified with hydrolysis and electrolysis, is equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas and is located in the garden near the aromatic and medicinal sensory path and the barbecue area.

Shared with the other guests, at your disposal, the use of the brick oven and two barbecues, a laundry area consisting of a washing machine, dryer and ironing board, as well as access to the swimming pool. Car parking and free Wi-Fi at the monastery are also available to guests.

Not far from the Agriturismo, we find the historic village of Casale Marittimo and Guardistallo. 7 km from the property you can go for a trip to the sea. The surrounding hills are famous for their typical Tuscan style villages (Casale Marittimo, Guardistallo, Montescudaio...). Just under 5 km away you reach the first city center, Cecina where you can find all kinds of shops including supermarkets and grocery stores.

The great desire for change of the family that manages this farmhouse, in search of a work activity steeped in the relationship between man and nature and eco-sustainable, together with the possibility of living in a more welcoming environment that gives meaning to life, in which to rediscover the human dimension, were the factors that pushed the owners to convert from the industrial sector to organic agriculture and hospitality in the name of green building and eco-sustainability.

Among the products that you can purchase and taste while staying in this farmhouse, in first place in importance is the superior extra virgin olive oil. The first place prize obtained as "Best Light Fruity" at the international competition "L'Orciolo D'Oro 2020", repays the owners for the sacrifices that are spent every day to improve the crops, taking care of and protecting the olive trees in a natural way from insects and parasites, taking care of the pruning and cleaning of the olive groves.
The scents of this oil are released when it is tasted on small croutons of good local bread or combined with any meat, fish or vegetable dish.

Another product of the Farm is the Aromatic EVO Oils which are produced by adding elements from the Farm's organic crops: chillies, garlic and lemons are therefore added to the olives at the time of pressing.

Finally, Tuscan organic gin, a liqueur made with artisanal attention, cared for with passion. Every step, from gathering the ingredients to bottling, is carried out with care and dedication. The naturalness of the ingredients is the fundamental pillar of this Gin.
