  The room in the tower was fabulous and the perfect place to spend a rainy day.

  No English spoken by the owners (and we spoke limited Italian). This was an apartment, not a B&B which we thought it was. Since it was a holiday it made for some logistical problems as far as getting meals or provisions. The online directions to this place were very poor and we spent an hour trying to find it. The signage needs to be improved at the very least starting at the main highway. Forget relying on a GPS.

  This is a beautiful place and the owner (we only met the wife) was very nice and helpful even though it was difficult to communicate. Understand that this is an apartment and you will be left to yourselves so plan for that especially if it is a holiday. I recommend this property for a stay and spend the extra money for the tower room (actually 3 floors) if you can.

  This house is out in the country and it is wonderfull to wake up in the morning and see the fog all over the hills and hear the sounds of rural Italy including all the gunshots as the hunters pursue the local widlife. Not nearly as touristy as Tuscany and brilliant because of this.

  Mentioned above I felt the owners should have a lot more local knowledge and be able to give directions to restaurants in the local area.They are nice people but the place is far too rough and ready for the clientele they would like to attract. There is a lot of room for improvement especially as this is an out of the way location.

  We stayed in the tower room and it was terrific...a 360 degree vista every morning ..that was the best part.The bed is hard as steel but we will always recalll the views.

  This was a beautiful villa well off the beaten track. The room was very spacious and well appointed, the owners were very friendly and the grounds were simply beautiful. We loved having a glass of wine out on the balcony under the stars

  There was nothing negative about our stay.

  Arrive in daylight and follow the directions given. Just keep going and you will find it. The owners had extremly limited English (it is Italy after all), but were very friendly and welcoming. This was one of our favorite hidden gems in Italy. I couldn't give it a higher recommendation.
