Historic Villa of the end of XIX century, built in the "Liberty syle".

In that period that place called Saltino was an important place for summer holiday for aristocratic families and important people. It was also the place where artists, intellectuals, writers, politics from all over the world used to go and spent their free time. 

Saltino is situated very close to the important and famous Abbey of Vallombrosa that was built in 1035 by Giovanni Gualberto. During the years the Abbey was expanded and especially in the XVI century, during the power of the Medici Family in Florence. A lot of important architects worked there an the Abbey became a very historic and monumental site. This Abbey has been always a place of spirituality, in fact also the famous writer John Milton built a house "Il Paradisino" where he found the ideal inspiration to write one of its best poem, "The Paradise Lost". The Abbey is placed  inside of an huge forest and for this reason was created a huge Arboretum where tourists can visit it.

It's a very relaxing and fresh place because is at an high of 1000 meters, in the middle of beautiful forests, ideal place to do trekking and relaxing walks. It's very near to Florence, only 30 km, and it was one of the place of the Grand Tour that was the beginning of this kind of vacations in the beautiful nature. This place has been conserved quite the same of that period even in his spirit. Nearby there are other interesting and cultural place to visit. 

The villa is large and welcoming place with a double living room, sitting area, dining room with large table, private garden and parking spaces. Large kitchen and bathroom, 5 large bedrooms, 4 master bathrooms, a bedroom and a service bathroom.
