Located in a strategic point of the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO heritage site, the farmhouse is ideal for excursions to some of the most attractive locations in Tuscany: Radicofani, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Sarteano, Montepulciano, Montalcino , Chiusi, Cetona, San Casciano Bagni, Arezzo, Siena, Bolsena.

The landscape that surrounds the property is dominated by ancient fortresses that give visitors an unforgettable view of the entire valley; This is crossed not only by the Orcia river that gives it its name but also by the historic Via Francigena traveled by numerous pilgrims. Other locations not to be missed are the free spas of Bagni San Filippo also called "Fosso Bianco or Balena Bianca" and the other establishments thermal baths: the Baths of San Casciano, the pools of Sarteano, Bagno Vignoni, and the sensorial baths of Chianciano.

The Val d'Orcia, now known as a food and wine destination, offers a great variety of excellent wines, cheeses, meats, etc. all of DOC and DGP quality. For nature lovers, it is possible to go on horseback, fishing or skiing.

The owners were most helpful and booked us a lovely dinner one night and took extra care to cater for gluten free needs. 20 mins from a town with a supermarket and laundromat. “L'accueil très chaleureux et extrêmement serviable, la grande propreté, le confort des lits, la cuisine proposée, la piscine, la gentillesse et la Toscane. Avec des enfants on se sent très à l'aise, ils peuvent jouer librement, et aucun problème avec notre chienne non plus, qui a pu se balader et se baigner dans la rivière voisine tous les jours. La randonnée jusqu'à Radicofani en suivant un bout de la via Francigena vaut également la peine, avec des cafés très agréables à l'arrivée pour récompense.”
