Tiny medieval hamlet located between Florence and Arezzo that has belonged to the same family since the 17th century. Situated on the top of a hill some 450 m. above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of the Arno valley and is surrounded by olive trees, woods and vineyards. The surrounding 2,000 hectares of land are a private game preserve and agricultural estate, ideal for walking and enjoying the local flora and fauna.

The main activity of the castle is olive growing, followed by forestry and the farm holiday business; near the village, there are many olive trees that slowly leave room to the woodland, a predominant feature of the landscape.

Our farm hospitality is offered both in three refurbished apartments within the village called "Il Giardino", "La Terrazzina" and "Il Belvedere" as well as in two small detached houses "La Casetta"  and  "La Loggetta", each house has its own garden and guests can use a large shared swimming-pool.

Not far from the village we also rent one beautiful refurbished farmhouse "La Collina" with its own garden and a private swimming-pool, ideal for large groups and families in search of more privacy and space. 

In the village it is possible to visit our direct sale space where you can buy some typical Tuscan products such as: wines, extra-virgin olive oil, Vin Santo and grappa. Recently we have refurbished a large reception area ideal for ceremonies, meeting and tastings, also accessible to handicapped people.

The village is set in a peaceful, natural surrounding not far from the most important art cities in Tuscany: Arezzo, Firenze, Siena, Anghiari, San sepolcro e Cortona
