The holiday house is based on the old structure which hosted the Baglioni furnace for three hundred years, up to the second world war. A square of handmade bricks at the heart of the structure gives prominence to the bare stone of the surrounding wall, which slopes down into a wide park. The furniture is composed by refurbished and renewed materials from the ancient furnace.

The property is located in a strategic geographical position: the holiday home is within 50 km from the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, like Firenze, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona and from the smaller but not less fascinating burgs and towns like Il Borro, Loro Ciuffenna, Gropina; Civitella, La Verna, Assisi, Poppi, Anghiari, Monteriggioni and many others.

The accommodation: Today the old structure has been restored and partitioned into 13 apartments facing the magnificent and luxuriant Tuscan countryside. Each one has independent entry with a little front space for a table and chair.

The accommodations on the ground floor, about 60 mq wide, are apartments with a double room, bathroom and living room with two or three single sofa beds. Two apartments on the ground floor are 50mq wide and are composed by a living room, bathroom and two double bedrooms.

At the first floor the apartments (about 80mq wide) are composed by a living room, a double bedroom, a bathroom and a mezzanine with three or four beds, a second bathroom and a walk-in closet. In some apartments is available in the living room a double sofa bed.

Each accommodation is furnished, in the living room, of a kitchenette with fridge, cooker, dishwasher, dishes, coffee machine, microwave and anything needed to cook home.

A number of facilities are available to the hosts such as two swimming pools, a solarium a playground and a big communal barbecue. Other facilities include a fresh grape arbour and, beneath it, big tables where you can spend pleasant convivial moments. For those who prefer more secluded places, there are small tables and reading areas in the shade of trees. Here you can stop and enjoy the panorama and spot some wild animals that often appear in the park extending in front of the holiday home.

The structure, easily reachable by car, offers a wide free parking, free Wi-Fi inside and outside the accommodations, tv, linen for bedroom kitchen and bathroom (changed weekly) and the availability of a washing machine and drier.

Inside the large garden (4 hectares wide) there are various equipment, free and for the exclusive use of guests.

In addition to a traditional barbecue covered by a canopy, there is a large barbeque of 2 meters in diameter next to a shady pergola, divided into 8 quadrants. Guests are free to use the barbeque and tables under the pergola to enjoy the meal with a panoramic view of the nearby woods.

In the garden there are two swimming pools, one of 6x12m, 1.40m deep, and one for children, 3x4m and 0.80m deep. Around the pools there are wooden gazebos, sunbeds and deckchairs available.

Designed for children, there is a small wooden playground a few meters from the pool where children can play safely.

On request, you can benefit of beauty services such as manicures, pedicures and face care inside your apartment, or relax with warm oil massages, anti-cellulite massages and draining massages.
