The farmhouse, located in the Tuscan Maremma and born with the desire to recover an ancient finely restored stone farmhouse, is located only about 700 meters from the ancient medieval castle of Porrona, rebuilt on pre-existing ruins in 1200 AD, where the owner was born and where the ancient aristocratic families of Piccolomini and Tolomei lived.

Immersed in the green hilly countryside of the Tuscan Maremma, on the slopes of Monte Amiata at about 300 meters above sea level, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and hunting bans, the small family-run organic farm offers absolute tranquillity, despite being in the vicinity of the provincial road, and therefore rapidly connected with the mountains, with the sea, with cities of art such as Florence, Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, San Gimignano, with ancient castles such as Poggio alle Mura, Monte Antico, Argiano, with places of well-being such as Terme di Saturnia, Terme di Petriolo, Bagno Vignoni, with the Uccellina national wildlife parks. Here there are pure emotions, those who love nature and animals cannot miss it.

In the back of the farmhouse, overlooking the panorama of the Maremma countryside, there is a large swimming pool 6 x 13.5, 1.50 deep with Roman steps, where you can cool off on hot summer days.

With about half an hour by car you can reach the low and sandy beaches of Marina di Grosseto and Principina surrounded by a suggestive pine forest; a little further north, still easily reachable with a day trip, are the towns of Castiglione della Pescaia, also renowned for its evening life and very popular with young people, Punta Ala, famous for its clean water and shallow waters or even further north Follonica. To the south, a few kilometers from Grosseto, the panoramic cliffs of the Argentario open up.

Furthermore, for wine and good food lovers, the farmhouse is located in the center of three well-known wine areas such as the Brunello DOC, the Montecucco DOC, the Morellino DOC and the I.G.P. dell'olivastra di Seggiano, today one of the most concrete riches, after tourism, in a region that makes the environment, good food, but also good wine its strong point, is viticulture, born and raised in a natural environment, transformed over the centuries by men, without affecting the landscape too much.
