Description

Location: situated on the charming hills of Chianti that surround Florence, amongst a typical Tuscan landscape of pine and oak woods, between olive groves and vineyards, lies the farmhouse.

A small hamlet made up of a large country house built on the same site as an old convent and a group of farm buildings, which have been tastefully transformed into tourist accomodation. An ideal place to stay and spend time discovering the Tuscan hillsides.
Agriturismo is the perfect choice for those looking for the peace and tranquility of a holiday in an uncontaminated countryside, far away from the noise of traffic and the city, yet at the same time really near the centre of strong>Florence (just 15 km distance) and other places of artistic and cultural interest; such as Siena, Volterra, Lucca and San Gimignano.

Swimming pool: Agritourism has a swimming pool immersed in the green of the gardens, on the hillside overlooking the Tuscan countryside, which is for the use of all our guests.
The size of the pool is 15 x 7 meters with a varying depth of 1m to 1,50m, comfortable chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas are provided so you can refresh and relax in the heat of the afternoon sun while being in harmony with natures rich colours.

The Villa, an old gentleman's residence, is owned by the village. Standing in a dominating position in the Chianti hills, it enjoys enchanting views which enamour all who have had the possibilty to admire them.
The history of this antique building is lost in the mists of time, it does in fact seem to have once been a small convent, however the harmonious and elegant structure of the building points more in the direction of a rinascimental gentleman's house. This beautiful abode offers a perfect atmosphere for your unforgettable Tuscan holidays. It's luxurious salons, large gardens and consecrated chapel, also make it ideal for prestigious events and meetings.

Agritourismo's apartments are the product of carefully carried out renovations following the typical Tuscan style, using classic florentine terracotta tiles for the flooring and chestnut beams for the ceilings.
Pieces of antique furniture, fireplaces and woodburning stoves make the atmosphere more pleasing, as well as making it possible for guests to stay even in the coldest months, so that wintertime in Chianti can be appreciated to the full.
The authentic atmosphere and absolute comfort in this unique nature zone makes for a holiday far away from noise or stress.
