Position: our B&B is immersed in the beautiful parkland of a game reserve populated with roe deer, wild boars and foxes in the splendid countryside of the valley of Mugello.
It is situated in a panoramic position 500 mt a.s.l. The wild yet harmonious scenery, a dense network of footpaths, the Lake of Bilancino (canoe, surf, sailing) and the excellent local cuisine make this area an ideal holiday destination.
To appreciate Mugello at its best, it's important to take plenty of time to discover the numerous Churches, Castles, Convents and Villas scattered over the territory. The unspoiled natural environment and the care taken by man to preserve the authenticity of his traditions, enable the ongoing production of top quality products: milk, honey, chestnuts, mushrooms, as well as the meat, game and cheeses which have always been at the basis of a simple, tasty cuisine.

The powerful Medici loved Mugello and left a great number of signs of their passage. We are about a 50 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Florence and 8 km to the nice town of Vicchio wich offers to its visitors many attractions: Giotto Square, the main town square, here there is the ancient Palazzo Pretorio and the Church of S. Giovanni the Baptist; in the district of Vespignano is situated Giottos Birthplace.

From Florence, passing along Via Bolognese, a stop will be Villa Demidoffs Park in Pratolino; from here, continuing toward north along Via Bolognese, you will arrive in San Piero and you can admire the impressive Fortress of San Martino, wanted by Medici at the end of the 15th century; continue following the indications to Scarperia:
here it is possible to visit Palazzo dei Vicari, built in the 14th century after town foundation by Florentine Republic.
