External view of the farmhouse

Location: the farmohuse is located in the heart of the Chianti area between Florence and Siena and it dates back to the 14th century.
The master farmhouse, dating back to 1300, seems to have been a destination of Boccaccio, who was fascinated by the landscape and sublime winemaking tradition of the area.
Another building houses the cellars where wine is made, while the older wine cellars are located under the farmhouses. Today, as long ago, they are used to age wines.

There are areas with outdoor furniture for relaxation, barnyards built with handmade Florentine tiles, an antique well and age-old farm tools displayed along pathways lined with typical Tuscan flowers, completing the entire outdoor area of the village.
Services: outside, surrounded by fields and olive trees, are a small football field, a tennis court, a big swimming pool (20 x 8 m) and solarium area with beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sun beds.

Activities: you can make tours of the vinification cellar and of the aeging cellar, tasting farmhouse's wines and olive oil, partecipate the grape and the olives harvesting, use Internet Point and have a typical Tuscan dinner on request - each Friday.

Environs: the strategical location of farmhouse is a fantastic starting point for excursions and visits to the main places of interest of Tuscany, such as Florence - 33 km, Siena - 42 km, Pisa - 75 km, Lucca - 70 km, Volterra - 44 km, San Gimignano - 22 km, Certaldo - 11 km, Barberino Val dElsa - 7 km, Monteriggioni - 28 km.
