Position: the country house is situated up a nice hill, 3 km from Castelfiorentino, in the heart of Tuscany, on the border of the provinces of Florence, Pisa and Siena and not far from important historical, cultural and natural resorts like San Gimignano, Certaldo and Volterra.
The country-house dominates the beautiful environment, and thanks to its position it is open to fantastic sights of wineyards and olive trees, that are characteristic of this enchanted part of Tuscany.

The house: dates back to the 1800s, and since 1980, the actual owners have cared to reshape the entire area, till the latest refurbishment of 2004 with the complete renovation of the building, both inside and outside.

The flat: at the moment, the owners have made available only one of the many flats that make up country house. This flat, colled “Girasole” (the sunflower), is composed of 2 double bedrooms, a large sitting-room, a kitchen, a loundry and two bathrooms, big garden and parking area. Actually, the flat has 2 double bedrooms with the possibility of two more places in the sitting room, a tv-set and central heating.

The relaxing atmosphere and the warm welcome of the owners, in addition to the facilities offered by the place, make this country-house an oasis of peace to live with simplicity the pure contact with nature that one can experience only in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
Environment: from the country-house, near Castelfiorentino, you can easily reach many towns, well-known for their importance in the artiscic, cultural and gastronomic field, and for their art and craft activities.
San Gimignano is 20kms from here. And there are 35kms to Florence, 50kms to Pisa, 45 to Siena, 39 to Volterra, 18 to Vinci.
From the motor-way FI-PI-LI it is easy to reach the coast: Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa, Versilia.
In the nearby you can visit some famous resorts like Certaldo (where you can admire Boccaccio’s House), San Miniato with its characterictic medieval hamlet and also famous for the truffle (a gastromomic speciality), Montespertoli, well-known for the prestigious wine, Gambassi for the termal waters, Montaione.
