The Castle is a historic residence with an adjoining ancient peasant village which for some years now has been renovated into a charming farmhouse located in one of the municipalities of Lake Bolsena, in the territory of Grotte di Castro.

The estate is located between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria in the middle of an unspoiled countryside in one of the least inhabited areas of Italy, halfway between Rome and Siena, just 9 km from Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Italy. Europe and 35 km from Orvieto.

A region with still intact nature and an ideal territory for magical excursions among castles, ancient Renaissance palaces, charming villages perched on impervious cliffs and Etruscan necropolises lost in the countryside.

The farmhouse, dominated by the 19th century castle, still today the residence of the family that built it, offers hospitality in the village below.

Hospitality is offered in 8 apartments (self catering service) or 14 B&B rooms all furnished with great charm, for a total of 42 beds. In addition to the use of WIFI and the shared SKY service, guests of the farm have two swimming pools (one for children - summer period), five-a-side football pitch, table tennis, billiards and table football at their disposal free of charge.

As extra services on site we have the tennis court, normal and electric bicycles and of course the possibility of lessons and excursions on horseback, thanks to the activity of the attached riding club known internationally with more than 13 years of experience.

In addition, since July 2015 there is also a wellness center specializing in Ayurvedic massages.

There are many activities to do on site, such as going to the affiliated Terme and Spa of Sorano (18 km), while it is possible to organize naturalistic excursions on foot, rent a boat (Lake Bolsena) and play golf at the Acquapendente Golf Club on request. (14 km).

Moreover, the castle is a perfect location for weddings, events and meetings outside the box.
