The farmhouse is located on the Florentine hills overlooking the Arno Valley, among olive groves and vineyards, in the municipality of Fiesole.

Despite being in the quiet of the Florentine countryside, we are 2 steps away from the historic center of Florence and the main tourist and cultural destinations in Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa and seaside resorts such as Viareggio and Livorno.

For those who want to stay in contact with nature we offer walks in the vineyard and olive grove of our farm. It is possible to book tastings of our wines by the glass and taste dishes of local products in our garden, next to the swimming pool or opt for a picnic.

During their holiday in this farmhouse in Fiesole, guests will be able to use the swimming pool, go on scenic mountain bike or horseback rides (riding stables 10 km away), play golf (15 km away there is a golf course with an agreement) and reach the Casentino Natural Park no more than 30 minutes by car.

Mugello, about 30 km from our farmhouse, has a valley with mountains and hills that slope towards the flat area near the Sieve river. Lake Bilancino, an artificial reservoir since the 1990s, offers various activities such as bathing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and sport fishing.

The Mugello racetrack is globally renowned for its car and motorbike races, easily accessible from the Agriturismo via scenic roads appreciated by motorcyclists.
A short distance away you will find the famous outlets of Barberino di Mugello and The Mall, where you can shop at affordable prices.

“Our overall stay at Poggiopiano was wonderful. The setting amongst the vineyard and olive groves was charming, beautiful and peaceful! Returning to the farm after the hectic pace of Florence each day was lovely, especially when enjoying the pool overlooking the valley. The room was reasonably comfortable and a generous size. Elisabetta was friendly, informative and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety of items. The farm is conveniently located a 25-30 minute bus ride away from the centre of Florence. A walk from the farm to the bus stop is 10-15 minutes depending on how fit you may be!”
