Farmhouse description

Our farm is located at a short distance from the sea, the historic beauty of Catania and Mount Etna, surrounded by a lush garden of orange and olive trees. Easily connected to the main communication routes A18 and A19, which give the opportunity to visit with ease throughout eastern Sicily.

We are a renovated old farmhouse of the nineteenth century, combining rural environments and comfortable facilities that bear the ideal vacation.

Swimming pool with sundeck open frm mid June to mid October, playground and picnic area for the outdoor kitchen with stone oven and barbecue. For those staying overnight is scheduled breakfast with our products. There is also a large free parking inside reserved for guests.

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to go horseback riding (from the stables near the property) to walks or mountain bike rides along splendid paths.

Among the many inland towns, you will certainly find a manor party or a festival with the many typical products. Also a few kilometers away is Taormina, a cultural and social center of international value.

For lovers of nightlife and gastronomy we suggest a visit to Catania: at nightfall its elegant Baroque streets become pedestrian areas where crowds of young people from Catania and tourists mingle in restaurants and trattorias to enjoy a plate of pasta alla norma and a pepata di cozze, pub for a glass of wine listening to live music or at an outdoor kiosk for a soda with lemon and salt and at the end a visit to a pastry shop for a ricotta cannoli.

Similarly, the neighboring provinces hold treasures of beauty and culture to be discovered, such as the Baroque centers of Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa and Modica, and the archaeological sites of Piazza Armerina, Morgantina and Agrigento.
