The Agriturismo, a few steps from Lake Bolsena (in the province of Viterbo) consists of two large rural farmhouses facing each other and other ancient buildings arranged all around, once used as stables, granaries, craft shops and warehouses.

Available to all guests is the private beach (on the shores of Lake Bolsena) immersed in a splendid garden, equipped with sunbeds and tables. All small pets are welcome. Since April 2012, the agritourism has been a pension and relaxation oasis for horses and riders. In fact, paddocks and pastures are available. From the Farmhouse you can go on horseback excursions on the Via Francigena or in the surrounding woods.

All apartments are built in local volcanic stone and are naturally fresh. There is a swimming pool with slightly salty water and therefore gentle on the skin! Sodium hypochlorite, which is the disinfectant agent produced by salt by electrolysis, is in fact not felt in the tub: guests feel only a slight salinity of the water.

This farm has belonged to our family since the early 1900s. Currently the farm has changed a lot going from a type of intensive agriculture to a type of extensive agriculture we produce: cereals (barley, soft wheat, durum wheat ), coriander, standing grass for hay and a very good oil.

In the Museum of the Agriturismo are collected the agricultural tools that were used to run the business, from those for the repair of footwear, to those for the cellar, the production of cheese, the preparation of seed grain, the cleaning of forage and the manufacture of ropes of hemp.

“Unterkunft sehr ordentlich und sauber; sehr ruhig und erholsam; eigener, schöner Badestrand mit schattiger Liegewiese; schöner und gepflegter Pool; trotz hoher Außentemperatur und ohne Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen im Haus (Casa1) erträglich; das nette Städtchen Bolsena ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zu erreichen; schattiger Parkplatz; sehr nette Betreiberin (Paola), die für alle Fragen jederzeit ein offenes Ohr hatte und immer gut erreichbar war”
