Farmhouse description

The farm, once an ancient sighting tower thanks to its panoramic position, overlooks a large green lawn full of olive trees, and a wonderful swimming pool (12X6m) where you can enjoy one of the most striking view of the area.

It has been renovated with care while keeping the typical characteristics of the Tuscan farm houses with floors in terracotta tiles, stones and beamed ceiling. The property was brought to its old splendor in perfect harmony between the Tuscan country environment and the elegance and accuracy of furniture. It is a charming place, able to give its guests an unforgettable holiday in a unique and unalterable landscape.

It is a family run farm holiday center, and it offers a warm and comfortable atmosphere with all the comforts that are difficult to find in similar facilities. Both the interior and the outside of the building are very accurate, well finished in every detail. All rooms are provided with fireplace or wood-burning stove.

Its ideal position makes it easy for our guests to get in a short time towns like Florence, Arezzo and Siena, rich in art and traditions. They can visit the Chianti hills with their villages and castles, the numerous wine cellars where they can taste the best Chianti wines on the market.

“Selecting a villa was a difficult process because you have limited photos and there are just so many places out there. But I really lucked out when I found this place! Photos do not do justice to the lovely villa and its surroundings. We were greeted with open arms by the owners upon arrival and they really did everything to make us feel at home. Honestly, the accommodations and size of the villa was much bigger than expected. Location wise, it is located fairly close to the main highways (about a 15 min drive) and close enough to Firenze. The owners know a great deal of local spots to dine and can give you directions to just about anywhere in Italy! The town of Pian Di Sco is very quaint and the local people are also extremely friendly. This is really is a special place. Our group can't wait to make the trip again. Ps. A memorable setting to have a wedding. We were lucky to have this experience at such a special villa. ”
