Nestled in the Tuscan hills, with a view over Montepulciano, this 90 sqm country house is a 17th-century tower house restored in 1990, respecting Tuscan tradition. Furnished with antique furniture belonging to the owner's family, it offers a cozy atmosphere. It is accessible via a private road of about 400 meters and is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and woods.
The house is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room with fireplace, one double bedroom, and two twin bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom with shower, and there is a second bathroom with bathtub. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a kitchen/dining room with a barbecue fireplace and a terrace with iron table and chairs. Another terrace is shaded by centuries-old oaks and overlooks the valley. Four well-cared-for cats live on the property and are regularly checked by a veterinarian.
Art cities such as Montepulciano and Pienza are ideal for cultural walks. The Val d'Orcia is perfect for excursions and photography. You can walk among olive groves, vineyards, and woods, or explore the area by bicycle. Public swimming pools are a good summer alternative.
