The masseria is an ancient property dating back to the beginning of eighteenth century. Born as a place for sheep and caprine livestock, around the half of nineteenth century it became a tobacco farm, where tobacco was cultivated and worked since it has been the main crop in Salento until few years ago. In fact, it is possible to admire unique ancient presses for tobacco pressing, worktables and other distinctive tools even today.

Not by chance, rooms are named after the most important tobacco varieties.

Today, after a careful and polished preservative restoration, the property is about to become a reference point for Salento hospitality, thanks also for its particularly advantageous central position. In fact, it is far only 12 km from Lecce, 28 km from Otranto, 38 from Gallipoli, 55 from Brindisi and 2 km from state road 16.

The property has 12 rooms with 4 different typologies: classic room, deluxe, junior suite and family suite. The living room, which immediately greet guests in a comforting dimension, is a lit location, with board windows overlooking the garden.

A unique and exclusive structure distinction is the outside pool which is filled up with hot water during the winter. Our Masseria is energetically independent, aimed at reaching the maximum of environmental sustainability; in fact, the property has a solar panel system and a biomass boiler that allow to heat pool water during winter months.

Furthermore, the property has shared areas suitable for hosting events, tastings, conferences and ceremonies.

Additional peculiarity is the desire to share products with its guests.
