We toured the olive oil press and learned about the process. We also toured the wine making facility and sampled many of their products in the restaurant. The pasta making class was really fun, as well. Mensanello is located between Siena and San Gimignano, making it an ideal location to take in the sites.

We did a cooking class with Gloria and had a wonderful time. I took home multiple recipes with detailed but easy instructions. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed it all. We also did a tour of the village and grounds. Our host - I don’t want to misspell his name- did an excellent job and provided very detailed information about what they do to care for the land/vineyards and how they make the wine. It was educational and one of the best wine tours I have ever had (I also live in Northern California close to Sonoma/Napa). The pool was perfect - clean and refreshing on the days that were above 30 Celsius.

I have no negatives about this stay. I will plan to come here anytime I travel near or through Tuscany.

Ubicación excelente si el objetivo es recorrer la toscana en auto. Comida,atención del personal y bodega muy buena. El desayudo en ese comedor con la vista de las colinas circundantes es único, no dan ganas de moverse. Los precios de vinos y comida muy razonables.

Reservamos muy sobre la fecha, nos toco una habitación secatoio la ultima disponible que no cumplió las expectativas que teníamos al reservarla. Dentro del complejo hay otras calidades con balcones etc. La propietaria se esforzó en solucionar los inconvenientes en forma inmediata

We loved everything about our time. From the moment we arrived everyone was so incredibly kind, the room was great, so clean and comfortable. C'est encore plus joli que dans les photos. La piscine avec vue sur la vallée est sympa après une journée de tourisme. Les chambres, bien que sans climatisation sont sympa et assez atypiques, en tout cas les nôtres (2 chambres de 4 pers).

Le personnel est très agréable, même si parfois l'attente est longue, mais bon, on est en vacances ! La consommation d'eau est limitée, donc quand tout le monde prend sa douche, certaines chambres n'ont pas d'eau. On a fini par se doucher la piscine.

Chambre réservée avec climatisation, avons eu une autre chambre où la clim ne refroidissait pas, fait signalé le Dimanche, avons du attendre le jeudi suivant pour qu'on nous propose, soit de faire passer un technicien pour réparer la clim ou de changer de chambre...Sur les 7 jours réservés, avons pu profiter pleinement de la chambre 2 jours. La personne à la réception n'est pas suffisamment à l'écoute des clients ! Tant pis, nous avons acheté notre vin et notre huile d'Olive ailleurs (450€) ...

Mooi, ruim appartement in ruim en fraai gerestaureerd complex (oud dorpje); goede parkeerfaciliteit; prima restaurant met fraai uitzicht over de vallei, ruime keuze in gerechten veelal bereid met lokale producten (ook de wijn en het bier) en uitstekende prijs/prestatieverhouding; bezienswaardigheden zoals Certaldo, Volterra en San Gimignano dichtbij; fijne sfeer, niet lawaaiig; veel waar voor je geld.

Geen airco (maar wel twee ventilatoren); ons appartement kende geen 'buitenopstelling' waardoor het wel wat gedoe was om buiten te verblijven, zwembad op zich mooi met veel ligbedden en parasols maar had wat vaker schoongemaakt mogen worden (wespen, bladeren).

Le charme des bâtiments anciens reconvertis en chambre. Produits du restaurant provenant de l'exploitation: viande, légumes, vins, huile... Calme du village. Belle visite du domaine commentée par le propriétaire, à demander pour apprécier à sa juste valeur le domaine.

On ne se sent pas vraiment dans un agritourisme tant que l'on n'a pas visiter les installations. Nous regrettons de ne pas l'avoir fait en début de séjour, cela nous permis de mieux mieux nous imprégner de l'ambiance agritourisme.

N'hésitez pas à tester le repas du soir "Table d'hôtes" avec un seul menu, identique pour tout le monde.Il est succulent!Je suis végétarienne et j'ai pu manger les plats du début jusqu'à la fin (sauf les tranches de viande ;) ) On vous propose de goûter les vins au verre ou de prendre une bouteille. Les propriétaires fabriquent eux-mêmes différentes sortes de bières et de vins. Vous pouvez aussi y acheter du miel et de l'huile d'olive. Notre logement, une bâtisse à l'écart du bâtiment principal, en pleine campagne, se trouvait au milieu des vignes et avait une magnifique vue depuis les chambres et la cuisine. Si nous retournons un jour dans cette région, nous savons déjà que c'est ici que nous aurons envie de revenir.

Une magnifique piscine bien entretenue et un personnel charmant. Un appartement propre et sain. Une petite terrasse pour deux, bien agréable Un parking très pratique pour le stationnement des véhicules à l'entrée de l'agriturismo.

Appartement spartiate, qui manque de vaisselle neuve et matériel de cuisine de base sans pour autant dépenser beaucoup d'argent(plat à tarte, essoreuse à salade...). Tout est assez vieux : toile cirée trouée, vieux canapé... Les extérieurs pourraient être surement mieux entretenus et les transats piscine ne sont pas très récents et souvent défectueux.

Très bon accueil. Chambre spacieuse et très calme. Endroit très agréable dans un petit village retiré. Situation idéale permettant de rayonner en Toscane.

La connexion wifi n'est pas assez puissante.

We had a great time, everything was there including the dark- and quietness to sleep in. The family was very friendly to us, certainly with eye on the circumstances. It's a great place to cycle or to have a romantic vacation. We hope to come back some day.

It's a little drive to the nearest town and shops.

If you are in Tuscany, go to the small, horrible looking restaurants, the food will surprice you in a very positive way.

Our host Carla was very helpfully, informative and went out of her way to make our stay memorable . A high point of our stay .

no air conditioning in our villa . Was fine for us at the end of Sept but may be uncomfortable during the summer

Good value, nice accomodations, great restaurant on site, comfortable beds, location central to many sights.

No views, no wine tour or information.

We enjoyed our stay at Colle Val d'Elsa. It was in a convenient location for us to explore Tuscany. We stayed in an apartment and were very happy and comfortable. For the amount we paid, we were satesfied. I highly recommend eating in their restaurant for dinner. The farm is a winery and we wish they would have shown us where they make the wine or told us something about their wine. All in all, it is a nice place to stay.

Very central to a lot of great towns and historic sights.Beautifully kept gardens and grounds and magnificient views from all our windows of the rolling countryside. We were very lucky to have experienced two extremely fantastic dinners at the little restaurant on the farm. Wonderful truly home cooked Italian meals and the food kept coming and coming. The restaurant was filled with a lot of local families and it was delightful to be able to experience how much they enjoy themselves.. We will certainly return again soon and have already recommended to our friends

ONLY NEGATIVE ASPECT WAS THE LACK OF WATER FORCE IN THE KITCHEN. HOWEVER, I DID NOT MENTION IT TO CARLA AS I DID NOT COOK VERY MUCH.POSSIBLY IT COULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED.

THE LOCATION OF COLLE VAL D ELSA 403 IS EXCELLENT....WITHIN EASY REACH OF COLLE AND ALL OF CHIANTI. CARLA IS AN ESSENTIAL FEATURE OF THIS AGRITURISMO. SHE MAKES THE PLACE SING.

Centrally located for exploring a number of Tuscan towns. We visited Voltera, San Gimigiamo and loved Casole d'Elsa which we could see from our window. Enjoyed the delicious Wed. evening meal with a mixture of locals and visiters attending. Short driving distance to grocery shopping. Enjoyable walking in the area. Very friendly staff.
