the farmhouse is located in a dominant position in the typical Balze region, along an Etruscan trail that goes through the Valdarno.
today, the core of the estate is composed of three main buildings connected inside through undergrounds, and outside through courtyards and hallways, which also delimitate the two gardens: one of them large and antique, restored with original materials, and the other one from the nineteenth-century.
The north-western part of the factory has probably been restructured around the first years of the eighteenth-century, on the typology of the Tuscan Villa in such age.
Further enlargements and embellishments, as coffer ceilings and frescoes, were added during the second half of the nineteenth-century. During this period the agricultural activity is reorganized and promoted, specially for production of wine and oil.
Accommodation: all apartments are equipped with TV, heating, money keep, cooking corner with fridge and espresso coffee machine, and some also with fireplace and double bathroom, all equipped with shower.
Apartments have different sizes and can accommodate 2 to 6 persons. Bigger groups can stay in nearby apartments; it is also possible to accomodate handycapped persons.
Farm: the agricultural production is still traditional, and the ancient farm-villa has been restructured in full respect of the architectural style and of the landscape, in order to preserve the charm and dignity of an antique environment rich of art, nature beauty and great culture.
Environs: this is what the guest can enjoy, a holiday in a natural environment of great beauty and tradition, but keeping the comfort of visting the nearby art cities like FLORENCE, SIENA, and AREZZO, and all the Valdarno area with its craftmade and manufacture activity, and its new settlements dedicated to fashion.
