Description
Location: you will find us on the road from Foiano della Chiana to Lucignano, in the province of Arezzo.
On a hill, among fields, woods, vineyards and olive groves there is a farm built in the XVIII century, with several small surrounding buildings surrounding, all once used for traditional rural activities: the tobacco dryer, the pig pen, the workshop for making and repairing farm equipment.
Descripion: we have carefully restored what is no more useful to our present farming activities (we grow cereal crops and sunflowers), so was born our “agriturismo”, along with the characteristics of an old rural settlement together with modern comfort.
Accommodation: four independent apartments furnished with antique furniture, a swimming pool and the scenery of the Tuscan countryside and a peaceful holiday are waiting for you.
Surroundings: from here you can take a trip around a territory rich in history, art, culture and appeal. We are located at the borders of three different provinces: Arezzo, Siena and Perugia. The lake Trasimeno is also very near.
Florence is about one hour away by car, and Rome is about two hours away. The clay hills of Siena are very close to our home, as well as the “Via Francigena,” a medieval route connecting Rome and France.
The Etruscans, a pre-roman people, has already populated this territory since the VII century B.C.
There is a lot to see, to taste and to remember, and after this experience it’s likely that you will come back again.
