Marina will share original techniques, ingredients, and family recipes that have been passed down over the centuries from our grandmothers. This course is intended for those interested in learning these techniques and recipes used in the time-honored dishes which come from the beautiful river valley of the Arno. Located just 40 Km "upstream" from Florence, the "Valdarno" in itself is a microcosm of culinary delights. Meals are formed from a variety of locally-grown agricultural produce (biologic/organic when available), regional meats, legumes, and delicious cheeses, all accented with locally-grown herbs, and embellished with regional wines and olive oil.

- One lesson to prepare a classic tuscan meal (also vegetarian)
- Wine tasting with local winery production
- A cooking booklet with Marina's recipies
- We will enjoy during dinner with the dishes that have been cooked.

Every lesson includes:
- Cooking Lesson during the afternoon (Monday to Friday) beginning at 5PM, preparing 3 or 4 dishes
- A dinner for tasting all prepared dishes during the lesson (wine is included)
- A work file with all of the recipes and a historical preface for the typical dishes.

For more than 3 lessons we offer in addition:
- ONE visit to an outdoor market to shop for fresh food and typical ingredients
- ONE wine tasting with choice of CHIANTI COLLI ARETINI
