Farm Holiday: Leisure
We are able to organize tours for small groups for sightseeing and to discover many of the hidden wonders of the province of Lucca.
Leisure activities include horse-riding, canoeing, mountain biking or just walking in the hills.
Many itineraries are available, both for beginners and experts, to be organised from time to time according to the needs and the seasons, lasting from few hours up to a few days. We have facilities and the necessary means but, if you prefer, you will be allowed to use yours.
Canoeing in the natural park of Massaciuccoli
With the most natural and silent means of transport, the canoe, we will be able to spend a few hours in the splendid sceneries of the marshy areas, the canals and the lake of Massaciuccoli, closely obserbing its rich vegetation, with unique plants, and the animal world, with also some very rare specimens, who always choose these plavces to settle nests and station by during seasonal migrations.
With the Barchino, discovering Torre del Lago and his lake
In these splendid scenaries where Giacomo Puccini spent his time, went hunting and wrote the most beautiful operatic scores, on board the same boat he used, the "Barchino", you will sail on the lake, visiting the composer's villa located on its shores and the 2nd century roman spa, totally immerged into the almost intact atmosphere of Puccinis times. |
