Our agricultural activities: the farm is surrounded by lush green countryside, and is around 20 hectares of land planted in chestnut trees and olive groves.

We inherited the land from our grandparents and after having been left abandoned for decades, my sister and I have decided to rediscover the beauty of nature, of the greenery and tranquillity.
We produce chestnut, acacia, and millefiori (1000 flower) honey, olive oil, chestnut flour, and timber for firewood and carpentry.

The farmhouse: is situated in the centre of the historical town of Tiglio, Barga, 520 metres above sea level in the province of Lucca. Tiglio owes its name to the very old oak trees that are situated on the land. The East wing of the property dates back to 1658 and the south wing dates back to 1771, as can still be read on the stones over the main entrances.
The agriturismo is enclosed inside walls that surround the tiny mountain village. Here you will find the swimming pool with sun terraces, the sun grotto, the children’s play park, a private park, olive grove, and other buildings to which we can provide guided tours. At the farmhouse there is respect for tradition, which can be seen and understood by the types of materials and techniques that have been used in reconstruction. The restoration work has created holiday apartments within the old farmhouses which ensure our guest's privacy, and conserve the historic elements of the farm such as the old log fired bread oven and the old wash tub.
