The estate was once the home of the monks of St. Peter's Abbey of Pozzeveri.
The Badia is set into the green northern Tuscan countryside, and offers a warm welcome to a world of Tuscan simplicity and tradition, and the large apartments located in the spacious farmhouse on the estate are ideal for holidaying families and groups of friends. The Villa, the tower of which dominates the estate, is home to the reception and wine tasting rooms. The decor is of the original terracotta floors and ancient wooden beams, and the period furniture combined with the modern comforts of new services guarantees a comfortable stay in spectacular surroundings that bridge the centuries from today to the past. The stone farmhouse overlooks the old courtyard of the farm on one side, and on the other the swimming pool and solarium. The farmhouse has been divided into generously proportioned apartments for a maximum of 30 guests. There are three types of apartments: 2+1 guests, 4 guests, and for 4 to 6 guests.
We offer a large swimming pool, tennis courts, bicycle hire, tasting of the red and white wine we produce here on the estate, and olive oil tasting in the original wine cellar.
