In the heart of Appennino Reggiano, on the top of a hill, there is a small medieval district, which has been carefully restored with patiente by its owners.

External view

From the inside of this borgo, Carpineti 1908 dominates the countryside underneath. Historically it was the house of seasonal workers which arrived form all over the Country to work as peons; today Carpineti 1908 has been converted into a biologic agriturismo by the family who has been living there since the first stone was set.

Parmigiano Reggiano

The Azienda covers 160 hectars of green area; it is sorrounded by woods of ash tree and oaks and by two little lakes. The agriturismo find itself into a strategic position since it is set in the production area of D.O.C. Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar.

Hot-hair-baloon trip

Its position is turistically interesting as well, being in the area of Matilde di Canossa Castles and only 23 km far away from Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino tosco-emilano. It is only 37 kme away from two ancient cities such as Reggio Emilia and Modena. Here you will find striking panorama appropriate for trekking, hiking, fishing and hot-hair-baloon trips.
