You will find striking views in the hiking paths of the Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano. The Parco Avventura Cerwood offers tree climbing tracks for children and adults. They are both only 30 minutes away. Within easy reach (15 minutes) you may also visit the Pietra di Bismantova. Once described by Dante Alighieri as the mountain of Purgatory, nowadays it is a famous rock-climbing training area. In the vicinities it is also possible to fish, to swim at the public pool, to ride horses or to follow mountain bikes tracks of botanical and geological interest. A special International Hot-air Balloon Gathering takes place on Saint Valentine week next to the farmhouse. Upon reservation it is possible to fly also throughout the rest of year, our guests will benefit of an exclusive discount on the flight.

We recommend to discover the Castles routes in the heart of Emilia and visit the land of Matilda of Canossa, known as the Countess of Tuscany. One of this castle is clearly visible from the farmhouse. Within easy reach you may find the pleasures of nearest art cities such as Parma (1 hour) and Bologna (1,5 hours). On a day trip distance you can also reach the Lunigiana region (1 hour), the Garfagnana region (2 hours) and Cinque Terre (2 hours).
