External view of the farmhouse

Description: the farmhouse was originally a rural structure fortified with towers of sighting.
This kind of fortified farms was typical especially for southern province of Siena.
Probably the farmhouse was some kind of outpost of sighting since it was situated near to a very busy road in Middle Ages and it was at services of nearby Torrita di Siena.

Location: this pleasantly situated complex estate enjoys a wonderful view on surrounding Val di Chiana.
A small lake, fields, vineyards, olive groves are characteristic for this landscape.
Farm: the structure is indeed situated in the huge farm which is holding vineyards, olive groves as well as the cultivation of hard wheat and sunflowers.

Living room

Composition: thanks to careful restoration it was possible to make out two charming apartments keeping untouched some original characteristics.
The apartments are furnished with furniture in Tuscan farmhouse style with some antiques pieces.
The entrance to the apartments is separated with exterior stairway. The drive leading up to the property is not asphalted and in some parts uphill. The parking place is inside the property.

Room with a view

Activities: oil, cheese and wine tasting are possible; guests can also buy these products.
Service staff is available on request (payment directly to the owner).
It is possible to use the swimming pool of another farmhouse. On reservation are possible some guides excursions in the farm.
It is also possible to assist in a different phases of agricultural calendar, to be present at the dinner on the base of Tuscan taste and mini-courses of cooking.
The farm in some periods of the year is collaborating with cultural associations in organizing courses and seminars of antis tress and wellbeing techniques.
