Position: the agritourism is in the Bisenzio valley, doorway to Tuscany, in the district of Prato, which lies a few km from Florence. This antique medieval manor house, which once belonged to the Buonamici family, has recently been refurbished and restored with loving care. Surrounded by luxurious greenery and far away from the city life, here the air is clean, healthy, and much less humid.

Even the water at the agritourism is from a fresh spring water well. At Cantagallo 1613 man has come discreetly, and is almost imperceptible in this peaceful and quiet setting that is only interrupted by the sound of birds singing and the murmuring of running water from the nearby streams.

Our products
Accommodations: Cantagallo 1613 offers rooms and poolside apartments encircled by a pergola. The barbecue and outside lamps brighten the evenings for our guests.
Farm: the fruits, vegetables, olives, olive oil, jams, honey and herbs used in the agritourism are all produced biologically and are all-natural. The dining room often serves freshly grilled meats accompanied by a good local wine.
Near the agritourism there are short walking trails, or more difficult guided courses.You can reserve your stay at Cantagallo 1613 (managed by the Lega Ambiente) near the protected area of Acquerino-Cantagallo. Deep in the unpolluted nature of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines it's easy to find wild animals such as wild boar, deer, porcupines, and a variety of birds.

Services: such as shops, banks, buses, pharmacies, a hospital, post office, and the train station (Florence-Prato-Bologna line), are only 2 - 4 km (3 min. by car).
Around the farmhouse: cities renowned for art and history are easily accessible either by car or train. Florence (28 km), Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo, and also the seaside towns along the Versilia coast, like Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, are only about an hour away by bus, car, or train.
