The property is dated approx 1200 dc and was a Convent with nuns of the order of S.Prospero till 1504 when the Tolomei family bought it and converted into a farm house. The owner bought the farm 15 years ago and converted into a farm house.
However it is the present owners Silvio and Joy who reside on the property, that are responsible for the sympathetic renovation of the buildings, retaining many of the original features such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors wherever possible.
