The initiators of Monteleone di Orvieto 494 decided to realise there idea in Umbria, on the hills near Tuscany 311 slm, between Monteleone d´Orvieto and Cittā della Pieve, few kilometres from Cetona, San Casciano de Bagni (hot springs), Orvieto, the wildlife isles of Alviano and Montepulciano, near Chiusi, an Etruscan town.

The three houses are restored in the same way and most of the existing old materials were recuperated for rebuilding. They are finished with natural treatments of balsam oil, for cotto, stone, wood. The houses can host 30 guests and are in near distance but surely have enough privacy. In the warm Italian summer you can enjoy a refreshment in particular and original swimming pools, without using Clorox for sterilization, or in the shadow of loggias e pergolas, and also inside the ancient common halls.
Along streams through woods, vineyards, olive groves you can walk, ride or take mountain bike to go from one place to the other or to the little villages or visit the other houses. The large vegetable garden can be used by every helping hand. All agricultural products have organic certification and they are harvest in the right season. The vine harvest, in the last weeks of September, is always a fun time with friends helping and enjoying good food and vine. A very special time is the Olive picking, after a few days you might have gathered enough to go to the oil mill and taste the new oil immediately there and discuss with the farmers the new oil and about the world.
