Villa: Monteleone di Orvieto 500
Description
Monteleone di Orvieto 500 has 3 charming apartments for three or four or five guests: Torre, Bertesca and Barbacane.
At the northwest side of the house, with the view to the Monte Cetona (Tuscany) you can have the impression to lodge in a falcon’s nest. The antique high walls of the podere look like an old watchtower and seam to end directly in a deep valley. The other side has two lovely overgrown, reed-covered terraces, which lead you in the garden. There is also a large biological vegetable garden, where you can get all you need for a good pasta. All furnishings are made out of wood and specially collected by the Italian owners. The couple comes from north Italy and has chosen to live in Umbria. He is an architect, specialised in biological architecture and has realised two beautiful and very cosy apartments. He is also a great cook and guests profit often from this fact. His great passion is horses and on the podere you can also ride. His wife is an artist and has restored the inside of the house herself. She gives also classes in pottery and painting. Mostly does she take care of the biological farm, where they produce olive oil and wine.If you like to get a bit more from you visit in Italy and their lifestyle, visit them!
