The cottage is surrounded by the typical Tuscan backdrop of cypresses and olive trees - ideal for people who want spend a holiday in contact with nature. For those keen on horse riding lessons and horse trekking excursions with an instructor are available. The horse riding centre is a member of the ANTE (National Association of Equestrian Tourism). For our guests who are keen on trekking there is an ancient Roman path that leads to Cortona in a 40 minute walk. La Quercia is a small cottage, only 5 minutes drive from the old Medieval town of Cortona, that enjoys a fabulous view of the Chiana Valley.
Horse riding
The property is part of a private equestrian centre where you can arrange private lessons, trekking and rides on a horse drawn cart. The cottage is made up of a living room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom, 2 bathrooms with showers. There is air conditioning, central heating and tv. There is a spacious garden area with garden furniture were you can relax and enjoy delicious open-air meals. The beautiful swimming pool is shared with the property's guests.
