The whole ground floor is the living area during the day; with a large and very well furnished sitting room. All furnishings of this villa have been chosen with the best taste. The owner proved that ha has a really delicious taste in this matter. The sitting area with its beautiful sofa is the perfect place to relax the evenings with a glass of Chianti wine. You have SAT-TV, DVD and a stereo CD player. A wide double door connects to the garden with an outside dinner table. From here you have a great view over the valley. On the Horizon you see the medieval towers of San Minato, and Volterra.

Serravalle Pistoiese 1676 is an apartment in a freestanding, complete independent holiday villa that is rented to groups for up to 6 persons. This is a Villa with an incredible view. Here you will feel like being a bird. The villa is locate nearly on top of the first hill chain of the famous Montalbano Hills. From here you are overlooking the whole valley of Fucecchio that connects FLORENCE with PISA and LUCCA. The Villa is set inside a private estate of 2 hectares, with a splendid panorama of the valley below. The location is absolute quiet. The villa is surrounded by a large garden, very well taken care of, and properly furnished with table, chairs, sun umbrella, barbecue. In front of the Villa there is a large natural terrace with green lawns and space for the kids to play, or just to sit and meditate the great view. There is an outdoor barbecue are that you can use. There is parking space for your car on the private grounds.
Interiors
The owners, a young Italian couple, lives in an independent in-law-apartment with its own entry on the back side of the villa. Alexandra is a great cook and can prepare a typical Tuscan dinner for you. Just let her know at the morning. She is also available for maid service or babysitting. Massimiliano her husband knows the local vineries very well.
In mid October starts the harvest of the olives. This is all done by hand in the traditional manner. If you want, you are invited to participate. You will learn how to harvest the olives from the trees, you will see how they the olives are selected and worked in the ancient oil mill with big stones to get the cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. It will be filtered and bottled and is ready to use. Its one of the best Olive oils I have ever tried. Only some kilometres from the Villa you reach a small village of San Rocco. Here you can find supermarket, pharmacy, first aid, bank, post office, whine bars, restaurants and a tennis courts. The 19 hole Montecatini golf course is distant only at 6 km. from the villa.
Serravalle Pistoiese 1676 is less than 40 minutes far from Pisa airport that is served by 16 airlines. Cheap flights to Pisa are available from RYANAIR , EASY JET Co.UK. JET2, HLX, THOMSON FLY from the most European countries. Nine major car rental companies operating in the arrivals area of the air terminal. The railway terminal is very close to the airport, (less 40 metres of covered walkway). There is a regular connection to Lucca about every hour. LUCCA is a complete medieval city, surrounded by a huge city wall with several watchtowers. Inside the walls all buildings are original from medieval times.
