The Farm "Rutigliano 1590" it's a receptive structure constituted of a farm built in the first half of nineteen century, recently restructured in the respect of the original characteristics, and situated in the town of Rutigliano. Its central location in Apulia and in the Bari province, make Farm "Rutigliano 1590" an ideal place for weeklies stays with every day visits and excursions, (bed and breakfast rate), that spaces from the unforgettable scene of Valle d'Itria (Ostuni, Locorotondo, Alberobello with its "trulli") to the romanesque style of the charming coastal cities (Polignano, Bari, Trani).
The distance of the sea is just 6 Km, and all beachs of the south shoreline of Bari are easily reachable. The farm is part of a Farm which produces table and wine grapes, table and oil olives, cherries. The Farm/Villa now called "Farm Rutigliano 1590", was built at the beginning of the nineteen century and completed in the first decade of the '900 from Turi's family. In 1970 was aquired by Dr. Nicholas Didonna, important figure of Rutigliano. Dr. Giovanni Scianatico, grandson of Dr. Nicholas Didonna, was ableto recover the ancient splendor with a careful restoration, keeping in consideration the original characteristics of the Farm.
With the period furniture and the plain cooking based on an ancient taste recovery, rustic but refined, the Farm Rutigliano 1590 offers to all those people who wishes to visit the Lama and neighbors places, a calm shelter and an optimal restore.
