The property is next to Montieri whose impressive silver mines became the reason for disputes and countless fights during the medieval ages. Environs: a few steps from here the charm of well-known places for those who love excursions and discoveries, San Galgano Abbey, medieval villages and castles set in still hidden itineraries and it is not so unusual to perceive the slow circling of a hawk or the shy and swift flight of a roe. The survey of the farm buildings ranges from the wooded feet of Poggio di Montieri, to wide landscapes opening to the well-known hills of Siena, characterized by the emerging towers of San Gimignano, to the Le Cornate hills which give hospitality to the fortress of Gerfalco, the highest village in Maremma (810 mts a.s.l.).
