The Grosseto 412 is an historic country house of typical rural architecture. Reconstruction was completed in 2003 and all the architectonic elements have been jealously preserved including the manger and drinking trough in the former stable.
The apartments nevertheless, complete with independent entrances and private gardens, are furnished with elegant refinement.
The complex is situated in the verdant plain that extends to the foot of the mythical Etruscan Roselle.
Close by the sea and therefore always pleasantly airy, the region enjoys a particularly mild climate throughout the year. Surrounding the house, in addition to the park and the lawns, there are 42 hectares of vines, olive groves, cereals and sunflowers.
A romantic reception offers a reading corner for leafing through books and magazines in the fresh air during the summer and in front of a warming fireplace in winter.
Here the loveliest of tiny doors leads to the wine cellar where one can sample the produce from the fields: wine, oil, jams, olives, honey and any fruit in season.
The open-air salon lets you refresh yourself in a stream running from the fountain, close by the pergola and the barbeque.
The sea with its beach or rocky shore is a mere 10 km away.
Two minutes up the road you will find: restaurants, local festivals, theatrical events in the Etruscan ruins or castles, convents and historical abbeys.
But even though it may seem a long way from modern life, the supermarket is close by as are swimming pools, golf courses, horse riding and... even more delights for you to discover.
The owner and guide is a very famous painter and sculptress who is well renowned throughout the world.
She would be happy to meet other artists and to put at their disposition her passion and her experience.
