The surrounding countryside, which has been planted with olives for centuries, is perfect for those seeking a place to regenerate the soul.
To the west there are magnificent views towards the city of Perugia and on a clear day you can make out the bell towers of the churches of San Pietro and San Domenico.
Southwards the view stretches over the Assisi basin and down to Santa Maria degli Angeli.
