Since ancient times, the old wine cellar of the Rufina farmhouse was mainly used for wine production and for spending a few relaxing hours after a hard work day. Nowadays the farmhouse guests may visit the wine cellar and taste the typical local products, among which the Rufina Chianti DOC wine, while learning somewhat of Tuscan art, literature, culture and traditions.
According to the local tradition, the Val di Sieve farm business produces and sells extra virgin olive oil and wine; all those who are interested in spending a holiday along the Tuscan wine and food itineraries may find there their perfect place to stay, rest and try the local recipes. Currently the farm production is developing, the owner have decided to increase the number of olive trees and the area dedicated to Chianti Rufina vineyards
